I do appreciate what you said about the Berber men, however I would like to say that it does not go by culture or origin when it gets to treating women right or wrong, it is purely individual.
I would like to add also, that the Berber women's position in the Berber society is pretty high and respectable. This started very long time ago, when Amazigh/Berber women earned their position in the army and the monarchy to become army leaders "Lala fathma n'soumer" in the Kabylie region against the French colonials. Tin Hinan as a queen in the Tuareg society and Dihya in the Chaoui region.
I am sure that Berber men have a good reputation is being fair with their women and that is looking at my sisters to start with.
Good luck in finding a Berber man in Australia, there are heaps of them.
