These women's thongs are handmade in the western region of Algeria "Mostaganem" (located at the Moroccan borders) with pure leather, they are similar to the ones handmade in Morocco as they are both made by the Berbers of North Africa anyway! The table base that I bought works and looks fine. I am so pleased to send this email. The Nativity arrived today in perfect condition. It is beautiful. Thank you for helping me receive this Set. Please pass along my thanks to the artist. Does she make other figures? I would like to add some more 'village people' to the Set. This could be women and men bringing gifts to the woman and boy.
