The Symbol represents Freedom seen by the Imazighen of North Africa, it was used in the war as a weapon and also represents the last letter 'Z' of the Tifinagh Alphabet. It is called the AZA sign of the Imazighen people used in the middle of the Amazigh flag.

You sometimes get imperfections in their jewellery; that is because they are done separately by hand; which gives it the real sense of the Handmade. It could take them hours to make one single piece of art such as this one. It is made with passion and love to the culture. The artisans are only using pure products.

What is Kabyle Jewellery (Jewelry):
The Native people of North Africa are called Imazighen (Amazigh for singular), where we can find different dilects such as Kabyle, Tuareg, Chawi, Shelfi, Amazigh, Rifi, Mouzabit, etc. The Kabyles refers then to the Amazigh/Berber people of the Northern part of Algeria, they are specialised in a lot of handcrafted artifacts such as Pottery and ceramics, Berber Rugs, and Silver Jewellery with pure Mediterranean red coral for hundreds of years. The customer service at Berbero Saharah is excellent. I ordered a beautiful tagine which I didn\'t realise was only for serving, not cooking. Luckily they had the foresight to hold off on sending it out and contacted me first to confirm whether I still wanted the tagine. I was able to exchange for another one which is for cooking, and am looking forward to enjoying lots of delicious meals!
