Leatherworking
The leather for its flexibility and resistance is used for making a multitude of objects in Algeria (horse saddles, slippers, cushions, handbags, etc. ...). The most active centres are the highlands, the Hoggar and the Mzab. Big cities like Tlemcen, Constantine retained the expertise of artisan tannery (debbaghines), but now this knowledge is lost faced with competition from Europe.The craft of Tuareg in this area presents originalities such as taghallabt, an object shaped wallet or aghreg, which is a travel bag. The leather of the region comes from goats or camels. Je recherchais une paire de boucle d'oreilles particulière et j'ai trouvé ce site. Malheureusement, il n'y en avais pas en vente. Alors j'ai pris contact et on m'a proposé de la commander si il la trouverais lors d'un voyage dans le désert algérien. A son retour, j'ai reçue un mail ainsi qu'une photo pour me prévenir qu'il l'avait trouvé. Elles sont magnifiques, le produit est de grande qualité, Je les ai reçue très rapidement. Le vendeur est à l'écoute et peut vous procurer les produits qui ne sont pas forcément en vente dans sa boutique. Je suis vraiment ravie d'avoir fait cette transaction.

Un tout tout grand merci pour votre gentille réponse, Hacene! Oui, je sais que les parlers berbères sont très nombreux. En décembre j'étais dans la région des Kel Tamacheq près de Djanet, rien À voir avec la langue berbère du Haut-Atlas au Maroc. Et j'ai en effet l'impression d'entendre des différences entre la langue d'Inzanzaren et de Tinariwen! Vous etes Kabyle d'Algérie... donc vous parlez plutot comme Idir ;-!? Je profiterais de votre gentillesse en vous demandant ceci. Savez-vous comment je pourrais écrire : BON COURAGE A TOUTE LA FAMILLE dans une langue berbère la plus proche de celle parlée dans le Haut-Atlas (ce cher ami qui a perdu son papa habite dans "La Vallée heureuse") ?
