Merguez / Mergaz, un goût distinctement unique de l’Afrique du Nord qui est dû à la harissa, au paprika, au cumin, à la coriandre et aux autres épices avec lesquelles ils sont fabriqués. La viande de ces merveilleuses saucisses est toujours soit du bœuf, de l'agneau ou un mélange des deux, mais jamais du porc, et bien qu'elles soient omniprésentes dans toute l'Afrique du Nord, elles ne sont pas toujours aussi faciles à trouver en Australie. Si vous ne parvenez pas à vous en procurer, utilisez nos épices et faites vos propres saucisses à n’importe tout moment de la semaine. Le goût, la saveur et l'odeur des saucisses sont quelque chose que vous n'avez jamais expérimenté auparavant.
Il n’existe pas de combinaison définitive d’épices pour créer les épices des saucisses Merguez. Chaque magasin, entreprise ou personne peut avoir son propre mélange. Le mélange comporte plusieurs épices dont la plupart sont spécifiques à la région. Les ingrédients sont également cuits avant d'être moulus et mélangés.
Les épices algériennes Merguez ne sont généralement pas trop piquantes, mais donnent le goût et la saveur les plus étonnants à vos saucisses.

This is a very exciting website! I like being able to see decent sized pictures of the products, and a brief history and explanation of the items is also very interesting and effective. Im very excited at the opprotunity to purchase such exotic and beautiful items so easily! Gotta love the internet for that right! Im looking forward to seeing the pottery and rugs too - cant wait for that! And it is exciting to think my belts are being handmade especially for me in Algeria - it is obviously a fascinating country. I'm too old to travel now, but love learning about places I have never seen. The photos (modern and old) are fascinating. I run a very tiny gift shop in a very tiny place (Lemon Tree Passage). The shop is part of the waterside unit my husband Ray and I live in. Not to make a profit, but to keep me occupied and interested as he is an invalid now. The community is getting familiar with the fact that The Little Gift Shoppe always has something unusual. Not that you need to know all that, but I had to compliment you on your web site. I don't know who has created it for you, or if indeed you have put it together yourself, but whichever applies, it is one of the best sites, both from content and composition that I have visited.
